Ingredients
- Meatloaf:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 pounds lean hamburger
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Sauce:
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a large loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- 2Place all of the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl
- 3Mix with spoons or hands until fully combined.
- 4Shape into a loaf and place into a well-greased loaf pan
- 5Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 6Pour half of the sauce over the meatloaf.
- 7Place pan in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- 8Remove from the oven and add the rest of the sauce. Then return to the oven and bake for another 45 minutes or until the internal temp reaches 160°F.
- 9Remove from the oven and let it rest a bit before slicing.
